Body Sculpting – Shape Your Body

One of the great things about today’s fitness research and knowledge is that we can take it beyond just weight loss and toning.

We literally can sculpt our bodies to our own preferences.

This is not the same as spot reducing but we can attain some of our wishes.

1. Recognize Your Patterns

As you track your weight loss and gains cycles, your workouts and your measurements over time you will see some patterns.

This is part of the reason that it’s important to keep records over long periods of time.

I have some from years ago that have allowed me to see changes and patterns that help me to decide where I would like to push or what I would like to attain.


2. Tweak And Refine

For example I have seen in my latest loss/gain cycle that I can shape and tone to my liking but remain a size bigger.

I could maintain this by tweaking my calorie intake to a maintenance level, or I can adjust it by reducing it.


3. Decide…

You don’t have to decide your outcome from the get go.

You can see where you are as you go and decide.

Since I like a more sculpted look and I have a bunch of clothes that I prefer not to have to replace I want to continue to reduce.

I will know when I want to stop.

Some prefer the fuller rounded look and would be quite happy.

Maybe I will decide that some day.

The goal is to be fit, strong and healthy…

And happy with the way that you look.

YOU decide what that is.


4. Get Excited…

This journey is yours.

It’s ALL up to you! How often do you get THAT chance in life.

What do YOU want?

How far do YOU want to go?

How much do YOU want to put into it?

YOU decide.

The rest of us are on our own journey and we are all along for the ride together. But your goals and your end game is totally up to you.

I could be quite comfortable where I am now in maintaining my activity level and workout routine as well as my nutrition. But I would like to push it for a little longer.

It’s up to you to decide.

The only thing to watch is that you don’t get carried away and push too hard.

That can do you more harm than good.

There is a balance in everything and this is one of them.

In the end there is YOU.

YOU decide.

Then YOU do it.

And we are all here on the same path, where ever we have decided to go with it.
